The second McQueen!!

Wow! have any of you guys seen Kate's second dress?
It's just as beautiful as the first!
I absolutely love it!

Will and her changed before heading over to Buckingham Palace.
How daper is he in that tux! Love the bow tie :)

I think this dress is sooo chic and modern!
I love the oversized diamonds that make up that gorgeous belt!
I love that she added a little bling and that her little cardigan had such great texture!

She looked so beautiful!
I hope she had a marvelous day :)

What do you guys think? As good as the first, better or worse??

Let me know!

And the bride wore Mcqueen

Wow! I must say I'm a bit of a suck for for a good love story haha.
I got up extra extra early this morning to watch the Royal wedding.
Did any of you?

I thought she looked amazing! The Sarah Burton dress was gorgeous!
It kept that traditional standards fitting for a church like the Westminister Abbey,
but had such a modern flair at the same time.

Look at that back origami detailing! Gorgeous!
It was meant to look like a opening flower.

How adorable was Wills face when he saw her for the first time.
You could see he said 'You look so beautiful'
Awwww!

The earring were a gift from her parents.
They were handcrafted and inspired by Kate's very own Coat of Arms.

The gown was created with hand made french lace.
The bodice was a typical Mcqueen design as it nipped in at the waist and
was padded on the hips.
I thought her veil was soo ethereal - absolutely beautiful!

Her welsh gold band was so simple but still is valued at $11,000!
Isn't that insane!

I loved the double kiss! Sooo cute!
It definitely made my heart melt!

And how adorable was the get away car!
I love how they kept a lot of very traditional elements -
it made it seem very down to earth.

And we can't forget about the Maid of Honor!

Pippa, I thought looked stunning! In fact some people are saying she stole the limelight from Kate.
I don't think so though. She look incredible graceful - also in McQueen.
She wore a very chic ivory silk dress made out of the same fabric as Kate's dress.

Plus she looked too cute standing next to Harry ;)

What did you think? Did you find the event exciting?
Or are you sick of the whole affair?! lol

Let me know :)

Except for work.. and all this snow! Gross!
I can't believe its so cold still here! Very unusual..

Anyways I have an outfit post here for you .. another transitional one - its about as much as I can get away with as of yet. lol

I don't know if any of you have been to Hamilton, Ontario, but its such a cool old old city with some of the greatest spots to shoot in. They are always filming movies here too.. It can just be transformed to look like pretty much any city in the world really really interesting building and features.

Its definitely my favourite spot to shoot in.
This shoot I did outside this really old rundown building. I absolutely loved the super old rusted yellow sign.

Headband - Forever 21
Blazer - H&M
Lace Shirt - H&M
Thrifted necklace
Jeans - Zara
Rainboots - Joe Fresh
Glasses - Raybans (cheap off Ebay :))

Covetable Pieces - Summer Outfits

Hey loves!!

I'm super excited about summer coming up! Can't wait for beach days and not having to bundle up under 1 thousand layers just to stay warm haha.

H&M has some phenomenal pieces coming out for S/S 2011 that I'm soo stoked about!

I thought I would share them with you!

I absolutely love the Yves Klein blue of this jacket! So trendy!

I think this blue dress is my absolute favourite! with the subtle pleating it looks so expensive! also with the gold belt does it not remind you of the Gucci Spring 2011 collection??

Isn't the bright orange bag amazing! Totally inspired by Jill Sander S/S 2011

How gorgeous are these nudes here! The lace shorts are to die for!

This coral dress gorgeous as well! The perfect shade for summer and so on trend with its midi length. It would be a beautiful dress for a lovely summer wedding :)

The red cigarette pants are unbelievable! They look so luxe, almost of Lanvin quality. They would look beautiful with grey, nude or basically any bright colour!

This dress is the perfect little summer dress, totally wearable for day with a jean jacket thrown overtop or with heels for night.

Some more nudes. I love love the
gorgeous sheer quality of the knit tank.
Beautiful! The crop top would look amazing with some cute printed highwaisted shorts.

Let me know what you think my dears! And get excited for summer cause its coming and its going to be amazing!! :D

The Magic of DIY - Purses!!

~ Inspirations ~

Alexander Mcqueen Clutch hmmmm love it!!

Hey Loves!
Wow I just wanted to say THANKYOU!! Thanks for all your comments
My last outfit post had 19 comments, that's incredible!
So thanks :)

So last night I did a little thrifting and came home with two awesome bags!! Well they were sort of ugly but definitely amazing DIY material!!
They were both under $5 dollars.

The first one I did was a dove grey bag, quick ugly initially. I wanted to stud the flap in the shape of the union jack (pictured above)
The first thing I did was cut off the thick leather strap.

I roughly drew with pencil the lines that I would need to stud.

I then started to stud along the longs using different
types of studs for different parts of the flag.

The centre of the lines I used a smaller stud and spaced them out.

I studded until just over where the flap bend so
it would look completed and not cut off.

After all the studding I added a simple chain as a new handle.
The bag is totally usable as a purse or a clutch and I LOVE the finished results!
It took about an hour and a half to complete and it is definitely a work out for your
lil fingers! They get pretty bruised! haha but the results are soo worth it!!

The studs I got from an ebay store. They have really
good prices and are super good quality.
Alot better than any craft store..

The second bag I DIYed was so much easier! lol
This bag already had a lot going for it. I loved the shape - its super structed,
and totally fifties style. It was gorgeous white snakeskin so in for spring!
The only thing that cheapened the bag was the ugly handle.

That was a simple fix, however. I cut it off and instead
attached this amazing belt I also thrifted for 4 dollars!

It has this absolutely gorgeous floral detailing along a third of it
and the rest is just a gold chain and matches the clasp perfectly!

I love how it adds so much interest from the back of an outfit!
What do you think?!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!!
